introduces our basic do-it-yourself denture kit - this denture kit includes all the ingredients necessary to custom-craft your own
full or partial
dentures from the comfort of your kitchen table.
Includes:
30 grams of our proprietary heat-activated gum material. Simply place this material into a water-filled saucepan on medium heat. The material becomes soft and pliable (like playdoh) when heated, but returns to a rigid and strong consistency when cooled to room temperature. This allows you to heat the material, create your denture, and allow to cool and harden. The best part is the material can be reheated (virtually) unlimited times - so you don't have to worry about mistakes or future adjustments.
Preformed
teeth on a stabilizing wire (hidden when denture complete). Preformed teeth can be used for full or partial dentures (from 1 tooth to all 28).
INDIVIDUAL TEETH (shown in photo) HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED BECAUSE THEY ARE REDUNDANT - Any denture that can be made with the individual teeth, can be made with the preformed teeth. The preformed teeth are significantly higher quality, also.

Q: I'm not very crafty, can I do this?
A: Yes! You do not need to be an artist to craft a denture from our kit, but you do need to have patience. This kit may not work for everyone, but it has helped many to regain their smiles. The heat-activated pink gum material is very forgiving, and can be remade unlimited times just by dropping it in hot water. It's important to read the instructions thoroughly when making your IMPRESSION, because once the putty is mixed it hardens in 3 minutes and cannot be changed.
Q: I am missing all my top teeth / all my bottom teeth / all teeth, will this work for me?
A: Absolutely, you are currently looking at the kit we recommend for replacing all teeth. This kit includes the preformed wire teeth which are attached to a stabilizing wire for added strength. If there are some teeth you don't need, simply cut away the teeth from the wire and discard. These teeth are fully customizable to your needs.
Q: I am missing a few teeth, will this kit work for me?
A: Yes, this kit will work best for you. This kit includes 28 individual teeth, allowing you to select just the teeth you need when crafting your custom denture. These are premium synthetic resin teeth which very closely imitate the shape and color of natural teeth. Once implanted in the pink gum material, the teeth look very natural.
Q: How does this compare to professional dentures?
A: This kit is not meant to permanently replace professional dentures. This is a temporary solution for those who cannot afford professional dentures or implants. That said, the materials included in the kit are very durable. When hard, the pink gum material is strong and long-lasting. The teeth are a stain resistant resin meant to replicate the strength of natural teeth. If professional dentures are not available to you, this kit may be able to help!
Q: What is an "impression kit"?
A: Your denture must fit up against your gums securely in order to work. Instead of molding the pink gum material directly to your gums (it's difficult to fit your hand in your mouth and blindly sculpt it to your gums), we offer an impression kit to solve this problem. The impression kit lets you make a plaster impression of your gums and teeth. The result looks like a small statue of your mouth, and allows you to craft your denture to that before putting it in your mouth.
Q: What if I buy your kit and don't understand something?
A: A team of three people are checking Etsy messages constantly, and we get notifications on our phone whenever a message is received. Simply reach out to us through the messaging system and (with as much detail as possible) describe where you're having trouble. I can send additional photos, videos, or descriptions to help make it perfect.
Q: How is the denture held in place?
A: The pink gum material is spread across your gums during the crafting process, and it is held in place with dental adhesive. We include a sampler of Fixodent with all kits.
