    Description

    Majestic HD tripod model 4800 W/ #1200 geared head. Condition is "Used" but in great condition and lightly used for its age with all parts working as they should.
    This tripod is a testament to American quality and design. There are adjustable stops to preset the leg spread if desired. The height as shown in the main pic is 76" but there is an additional 9" of rise to the column. It is easiest to set the tripod on its head to extend the legs (be sure all four knobs are loosened per leg set) and for this reason, the mounting 1/4x20 screw is spring loaded so that it retracts flush with the mounting plate. This equipment weighs about 20 lbs. and the feet are large rubber discs (kind to floors) so not really suited to trekking. This tripod has lain on a shelf in my studio for more than 20 years because I have a 12' salon stand.
    It's time someone puts it to good use.
