The Benro GH2 Gimbal Head is a specialized tripod head designed for photographers who want comfort, stability and smooth control with their heavier zoom lenses. This is something that you just can't get with the standard ball head. The GH2 allows you to rotate your lens around its center of gravity enabling easy manipulation of large lenses up to 600mm.
If it's sport or wildlife photography, maneuverability and speed are two very important factors which the Benro GH2 supports, allowing photographers to capture those all important unpredictable moments.When you shoot the sports or nying birds with 300mm f/2.8 lens(or heavier lenses), will you feel it's too heaw and not balanced?Or when you use fluid video head or ballhead to support these big lenses, especially when you adjust the shooting angel, will you feel the head is notstable, the center of the gravity is not different?
Ideal for long, heavy lenses, the GH2 Aluminum Gimbal Head from Benro can hold up to 50 lb, stands 9.5" high, and weighs 3 lb. It comes with a QR plate which can be quickly removed by turning the knob on the side. international-style QR plates such as the Arca Swiss and the Benro PL Series special lens plates.
A vertical scale and a 360° panoramic scale allow for easy adjustments and repeatable pans, while a large pivot tension knob enables smooth tilts. A separate knob locks the panning motion, for more complete adjustment control.
