A really fun 1987 Land Rover Defender 110 with left hand drive. The car runs and drives very well. 3.0 gasoline engine & 5speed. Raised 2inches with 33inch BFG mud terrain tires. Purrs on the Freeway at 90kmh. Only 106,000 miles on the odometer. This Defender was used in Turkey for Nat Geo film shoots. It has a clean Florida title though currently resides in Malibu, California. The trans shifts effortlessly, the engine is strong (though not fast). In fact the gasoline engine block is the same used for diesel Defenders, so very solid. The aluminum body and steel frame is straight and shows no signs of accidents. There is no rust anywhere except possibly on the rocker panels, which do show signs of being repaired, though I don't know for certain. I've had the door panels off to replace part of the window track and no rust there or anywhere else. It starts immediately and stops straight and fast.The vehicle has had the headliner redone and seats recovered and the rear cargo matt and trim upgraded. It was repainted orange prior to the Nat Geo shoots and the roof rack and 4 spotlights were added. The ignition switch, battery, starter, and drop arm ball joint have been replaced recently.In Malibu where I live, it gets more attention than Ferraris and Lambos costing hundreds of thousands. Be ready to have people stop you and ask to take photos.
